چکیده

To reduce logistics scheduling costs and energy consumption, this paper studies the slab allocation hot-rolling integrated optimization problem that arises in practical iron steel enterprises. In problem, slabs are first allocated to orders then sent heating furnaces for heating; then, they a mill rolling. A 0–1 integer programming model is established minimize attribute difference cost between orders, switching of processing, waiting times after reach rolling mills. Given problem’s characteristics, an improved differential evolution algorithm using real-number coding method designed solve it. Three different heuristic algorithms proposed improve quality solutions initial population. Multiple parent individuals participate mutation operation, which increases population diversity prevents from falling into local optimum prematurely. Experiments on 14 sets real production data large domestic plant show our generates significantly better reasonable amount time compared with CPLEX, simulated artificial method, classical algorithm, it can be used by practitioners.

Population-based Extremal Optimization Algorithm for Hot Rolling Scheduling Problem

The paper presents a valid model and a solution method named population-based extremal optimization algorithm (PEOA) to solve the hot rolling scheduling problem (HRSP). Firstly, the problem is formulated as a prize-collecting vehicle problem (PCVRP), which considers two major requirements: (a) selecting a subset of slabs from manufacturing slabs to be processed; (b) determining the optimal prod...

Solving Dock Allocation Problem Using Improved Chemical Reaction Algorithm

Container terminals are places where cargo is transported from point to point using special equipment. One of the most important issues in planning coastal operations at container terminals is the issue of the planning of the embankment or quay, which has a significant impact on crane, yard, warehouse and truck routing programs. This research involved a basin planning model with a multi-pier si...

Multi-objective Differential Evolution for the Flow shop Scheduling Problem with a Modified Learning Effect

This paper proposes an effective multi-objective differential evolution algorithm (MDES) to solve a permutation flow shop scheduling problem (PFSSP) with modified Dejong's learning effect. The proposed algorithm combines the basic differential evolution (DE) with local search and borrows the selection operator from NSGA-II to improve the general performance.  First the problem is encoded with a...
